Wheel balancing, also known as tyre balancing, is the process of equalizing the weight of the combined tyre and wheel assembly so that it spins smoothly at high speed. Balancing involves putting the wheel/tyre assembly on a balancer, which centers the wheel and spins it to determine where the weights should go.

The following are some symptoms that the wheels are not balanced properly:

• Vibration in the steering wheel at certain speeds.

• Vibration in the seat or floorboard at certain speeds.

• Scalloped or cupped wear pattern on the tyres

The Hunter Road Force Wheel Balancer solves wheel vibration problems that traditional wheel balancers cannot fix. This machine detects non-balance, radial-force related problems associated with tyre uniformity, tyre and rim runout, wheel to balancer mounting errors and improper bead seat of tire to rim.
